A course of electrolysis treatment is needed for permanent results.
A full consultation will be carried out to assess suitability for treatment. Please inform us of any medication you are taking or if you suffer from polycystic ovaries or any systemic hormonal condition. Do not pluck or shave the hairs for a few days prior to treatment.
Following electrolysis treatment it is important to treat the area with respect and to adhere to recommended aftercare procedures. Apply the recommended Sterex aftercare products for several days following treatment.
For at least 24hours following treatment:
- Avoid touching the area with your fingers
- Avoid washing or wear make-up over the treated area for at least 24 hours
- Avoid heat treatments and any beauty treatments
- Avoid excessive sweating
- Do not swim in a chlorinated pool for the first 48 hours following treatment.
If unwanted hairs appear in between your treatment sessions, do not tweeze the hairs but clip them with small scissors.
