Top Tips for Christmas Party Prep

With the Christmas party season just around the corner we offer our advice on making sure you look your best.

Some of our clients have mentioned that they sometimes don’t have much time to get ready and often go straight from work to their evening event. Here we share our ‘quick’ makeup prep tips to help you transform your look from day to night.

When struggling for time you can easily renew your daytime makeup by blotting your face with a tissue, or oil blotting papers to remove any excess oil. We love Art Deco oil control papers! The next tip is to apply liquid concealer covering any areas which need special attention and ensuring you blend in well with your fingertips. Be sure to dust over your face after this with a fresh application of powder to make sure this sets.

When it comes to your sparkly eyes, concentrate your efforts on applying eyeliner pencil and smudge with your finger or a brush to give a smokey party eye effect. Freshen up your lips with a coloured lip gloss to brighten that party smile and above all – have fun!
