5 Minutes with Angela Bartlett

We have welcomed some fantastic new clients to Sensoria lately so thought we’d share with you some of the commonly asked questions they put to us. And of course, the answers from our Manager Angela Bartlett.
1. How long have you been in the beauty industry?
Its hard to believe that Ive been in the beauty industry for 33 years, since I was twenty years old. It doesnt feel that long as I still have the same amount of passion for the industry as did when I first qualified. The team and subsequently our clients can benefit from the large amount of experience I have gained over the years.
2. You mention your experience, what experience have you had in the beauty industry
I have been a teacher in beauty therapy, an International Examiner in countries such as Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, South Africa, Singapore and Dubai, amongst others. I have been the Chairman for BABTAC, the UKs largest trade association for beauty therapists, and its sister organisation CIBTAC which is an international examinations board. I have owned salons for many years both in the south and the north of England. I currently organise and run a large section of Awards visits for Professional Beauty too as well as advising for the beauty section of the national hairdressers federation.
3. What makes Sensoria different from other beauty salons?
Our clients tell us that its the level of customer care and the quality of our treatments that makes us stand out from the competition. Our commitment to working with the best brands is also very important in offering an excellent service.
4. Which skin care brand have you chosen to work with and why?
Our skin care brand is Dermalogica, which we have worked with for over 15 years. In my view it provides everything a skin care therapist and a client could wish for – results driven treatments, effective home care products and good value for money.
